            TL;DR: PDF Scanner & Tools Offline processes all your PDF files locally on your device. We do not upload, read, or store your documents on any servers. However, we use Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect anonymous device data.

PDF Scanner & Tools Offline is designed with privacy as a core principle. All file processing (merging, splitting, converting, and compressing) happens 100% offline on your device's local hardware.

We do not upload your PDF files to any servers.
We do not read the contents of your documents.
We do not back up your files to the cloud.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services (Ads)

While the core PDF processing is completely offline, our app is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To provide these ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect certain data, including:

Device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID).
IP address (used to determine general geographic location for ad relevance).
Usage data (e.g., how you interact with the ads).

3. Permissions Required

To function correctly, the app requests the following permissions:

Storage / Media Permissions: Required solely to read the PDFs you select and to save the processed files back to your device.
Internet Permission: Required strictly to load and display banner advertisements via Google AdMob. No document data is ever sent over this connection.

4. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
